  • New style carcoon size

    Hi guys

I've not been on here for awhile.

Looking for some help my old carcoon is getting abit tired still works ok as I fitted 2 new fans and a new zip ends. But has a couple small splits at the back.

Looking at there new ones with the frame work has anyone got one and what size would I need. Smaller the better as my garage isn't huge.

    Thanks giles

There's size on the Web page or call the number and tell him your garage size and see what he says will fit the car and the garage.

Would you you say they are as good as the carcoon ones mate. Do they zip across the bottom

              thanks.

I've never seen a carcoon these zip across the bottom and also have a side entrance zip like a side door that zip across the bottom aswel. These are only indoor use only.

Terry ( ITJH ) off the forum has seen the air chamber and I think he has a carcoon. It's may best to ask him what his thoughts were.

Good thing with the air chamber is you can go in to it and takes seconds to unzip and zip up again. Without having to collapse the whole thing as the frame will hold the plastic material up. And takes about 2 mins to become a blown up bunble again.

I personally think there's better options than the carcoon, majids, for instance and also cairoport from hamilton classics, that's what I settled on after having carcoons for years.
If you've a tight garage with an up and over door, then it's the only one that will do the job properly as it's tapered in design, mine sits 1ft from an up and over door and has plenty of clearance.
Also has 3 fans so shifts more air, 2 zipped side doors and obviously the rear.
The only thing you'd want to add to it is a CTek charger as the power supply does not cater for battery maintenance like the carcoon does, although if you have a carcoon charger already you can connect it to run the 3 fans at a slightly slower speed and retain it☺.
