I think i got 12" infront and 16 in rear now on my saph... this is on Bilstein 909 coilovers, so may be some difrent lenght on treads and top. I had 7" front, but was to short and abit to low for my liking(used since other wheels touches spring and nuts, but lower et now so had space)

Think 8-9" minimum in front, and 14-16" rear.

On my 33cm front and 55cm rear total lenght on springs was where i whanted to be including helpersprings in rear (free lenght when lifted of ground, fully streched dampers). Then it was not lowered, so tca was "straight", dont get the Nice parking look, but much better to drive.

Excellent topic this. I have adjustable Gaz Golds and they are so hard they make the car skip if pushing hard around mini roundabouts. Cant make the car move either when sit on front wings. IMO fookin dangerous. So what we saying 300lbs front and 200 lbs rear is good for spirited road use? I'm not sure what the poundage of mine are but suspect much much higher than that.

Isn't 300lbs in the front still quite hard going on our bumpy roads?
my nova ran 280lbs on the front and was still quite firm

Engine at the front and majority of transmission weight, so needs to be a little firmer than the rear.

300 is abit firm Yes, but okay place to start, normaly i guess 250-300 in front, and 150-180 would be okay.

Send them to Gaz, cheap enough to rebuild and re-plate the shocks.
