  • Replacing water pump - Parts list

After the water pump ruining my day yesterday, I'm going to replace it on Friday. What else should I buy? Water pump, cometic gasket, thermostat housing seal. I'm just trying to get it all done at once. Any sealing compound recommendations?

I was going to get it drink GGR, any other places that you'd recommend?

    Cheers all

Since it's so cheap, buy a new thermostat too and some new bolts....purely cosmetic reasons burton power and Matt Lewis motorsport are good shouts.

I had trouble getting a pump last year, 4x4 ones are hard to find now. I ended up getting if from GGR, was about £170 from memory

Is a standard thermostat the ticket? I don't know which is preferable on big power engines! Some like the lower temperature one.... I don't have a clue!

Would order New gaskets, since dont cost much, and no need to regret later when leaking

Look on Facebook for a guy called Andrew Thomson, he's the same bloke that runs ATM sport. He sells new pumps made with the original casting, £135 posted I think. You get a new gasket with it. I used a smidging of hylomar blue to seal it.
