which is fastest a reno 5 or a escort cozzeh ?? (another Cozzfarver video)
I've noticed a lot of M3's from that period seem to have Northern Ireland reg's? One in that video is FXI *** for example. Where they built over here or something?

Most Group A M3's of that era were built by Prodrive... Not sure though how they registered them... Bernard Béguin and François Chatriot both won the French Championship title on Prodrive M3's. The vid is from 94 so they could well be ex Prodrive shells.
Love the vid and great that the sound is not dubbed over with some silly music like is so often the case... Just pure engine sounds.

good question Paul,i first noticed Patrick Snijers M3 was gxi**** and more than a few others were irish registered, jimmy mcrae's and russell brookes manta 400's were irish rego's. i reckon that prodrive bought cheeper irish reg'ed cars and built them into tarmac rally cars. the one m3 car i remember for ages being rallied was dennis cronins white/blue and red/gold ex rothmans prodrive car.
When Prodrive started with Subarus the reg's were ending in wl,jo,bw,fc.
so a reg like g213gjo the jo signifys oxford which just so happens to be nearest reg office to banbury.
the reg gxi9427 on dennis's ex prodrive m3 is a belfast registered plate
