  • Siliverstone Classics Thanks

Big Thank you to all involved in sorting the Stand out at Silverstone Classics this year

And what a show it is love it, full of so many different sorts of life, Who all seem to have a respect for every single car there no matter what you drive,

it was a massive eye opener to how many people love the Escort Cosworth,

so many stores from one weekend roll on next year

Same here we loved it, got lucky with the weather also!.
So much better going to a mixed marque show for me personally.
All the cars on our stand were top notch also!

I went on the sat, i see the four cossies there that day, they got loads of attention whilst I was sat having my lunch... did none of you's lot stay for the music in the eve?.
Was a great day, some of the racing on the sat was top drawer, seeing the two rs500s battle it out, and watching the F1 cars being warmed up and put together just before that session, was awesome.
Shame I couldn't have brung my cossie... maybe next year.

Out of interest what did you guys burn fuel wise?
i put £50 in the day before which didn't brim it but gauge showed full.
did 220miles and was between 1/4er and empty on way back so put more fuel in about 5 miles from home.
Is that about right? Mostly motorways about 80mph but did give it some stick every now and then.

Thanks Ben, thought it seemed alot to use a tank in 1 day but guess they are not the biggest of fuel tanks.

i think that's about right I usually drive about 90mph mark off boost, I don't think they're too bad on fuel really, The best I got out of mine was when we left spa in Germany filled up there there drove all the way back to the UK and had to refiller on the M25 which was 400 miles, that was doing about 100mph all the way till we got to the uk,

funny thing is though when I filled up on the M25 I nearly used all the tank to get back to Weymouth from there, that's all the start stop though.
