I like them, but not £75k like them. I'd rather a Lancia integrale, but the thing I'd love most is a lotus carlton, one just went for £72k at silverstone with 4kmiles on the clock, and i missed it, I'd have got rid of all my Ford's for that...

I didn't get to see the nice one in doors, it said no paintwork in the description I thought?, completely original?.
There was another one there, which was more than a bit ropey, which I did see, think that had around 70k on it.
Not sure what that went for.

It is 500 of 5500, 5500 is already very limited production. I mean it is the same thing as monte, focus rs500, merc e500 limited and so on. It is the same car but slight different, it should be more expensive but 20, 30% max, not 300%. The market dictates the value but in this case is unreal, it something like merc evo1 and 2, that are 2.3-2.5 16v models with some, on the evo2, much more plastic and xxx /500 sticker. Mercs even look bit different but 95% of auto enthusiants cann't tell the difference between 500 and 3dr. I heard many people calling 3dr, sierra 500.
Would you rather have black, white and moonstone 3dr than one 500?
I look on the cars how they appear, how they drive and never as a future investment, i am looking for me not for the some guy in few years.
a monte escos will not fetch a premium price over a bt cos, it does not even have the lux leather seats.

I'm really lucky as I own a Focus 500, Radmans old Escort cosworth and recently bought Kgf classics white 32k Sierra 3 door cosworth.

My dream car is a white 500. Sadly now I think I've missed the boat as their prices are out of my reach

isn't that the shitter , not to be able to afford the working man/women's sports car. Back in the day the toffs scorned Fords now there buying them for investment purposes and probably still scoren them. Prices going up have done no good at all for the scene or our beloved cars.

I think there lies 2 issues. Yes its a real shame to see them broken but without good spares were knackerd trying to keep our own cars on the road. \its a dilemma I have thought about for a while. If you want to drive these cars every day for the foreseeable future then whats the future going to be like. I honestly say If i bought a 500 i wouldn't never drive it much....

Yes, but also the reason we have barley any supliers that makes parts for us for a "okay" price, is since everybody bought only second hand from breakers or stolen cars, so was not marked to keep producing spares for us, so now when few cars left, second hand is coming more and more from stolen ones, or we have to pay to get IT made in singels or smal batch if anybody Even bother... We have in the end put us in this
situation ourself, and its old cars now, so what can we exept...

But what is the point of having the super car and not using it.
It is nice when you see it in the garage, it is nice looking it being washed but the nicest thing is drive it.
That is the same thing having Sofia Vergara at home but you can just look at her.
All those buying such cars and keep them for the next owner, looking them as an investment, buy yourself bitcoins and let us drive.
