                        Thing is to me much of the turbo choice is greatly determined by the gearbox and drivetrain being used. If your on a std 4x4 box, yeah sure the EFR is phenomenal for the engine, but the gearbox will shit it's pants 100 yards up the road with all that low down torque.
                        So the best turbo for a given car really depends on budget and spec of the whole car.

                          i have positive boost just tad more than 2000 rpm and full boost by 3500.. more than enough for me..my semicut gearbox wouldn't live much trough efr massive torque

                            Yeah but James we all know the std yb box is chocolate over 350 really... Mine lasted about 6 months. I don't think it matter what turbo you have...

                              It's torque that kills boxes, the T38 is usually ok on them as they don't make much
