  • What turbo?

At the moment I'm running a gt30 with a small turbo exhaust housing and manifold believe it or not.
My engine is a low comp long studded bottom end, with a Nick Waples head with standard exhaust cam and bd16 inlet cam.
Looking to fit a big turbo manifold, but what turbo should I get for around the 400 to 500bhp?
More interested in torque and drivabilty

Go for a twin scroll manifold and Efr 7064 turbo if the budget can be stretched.

      I wish haha.
Thinking gt30 with 63 exhaust is the best compromise maybe.

Your gt30 should do the power but would change the ex housing and manifold

How have you got a gt onto a small turbo exhaust?
The ST is a T 25 frame, the GT is T3/T4 frame.

Only reason I ask, I have a turbo on my rally car that is a 0.63 T3 frame and I need a smaller exh housing.

Mark, I'm pretty sure Ste has a st rear housing on his turbo.

T25 uses a circlip to hold the compressor on, GT is bolt on.

Im interested as it might be a good option for mine.

Both ST and BT are T3 bolt pattern.
                  Cheers

Yes, at the manifold flange, not the turbo core, T2 core is tiny compared to T3 as are the thrust washers.

Ahh yes I remember them, the 240 and the 240r.

They were supposed to surge like mad, always thought they would work on a restricted rally car.
