cheers Fletch! yehh thats me just needing the gear box mount now got everything else lined up and will need to get my prop shortened will probably get oddkidd to do that once i have measured it, still unsure on what to do with my downpipe weather to live with the very close gap between tht and the box or change to a 2wd down pipe

You reminded me I need to order the mount, bush and 2wd release bearing Is it the same bush as the Esc Cos mount? One thing I didn't add was who can shorten the prop

How close does the 4x4 downpipe go near the box? Im running 4x4 exhaust manifold.

Why do you need a 2wd sump?
You can just leave the 4x4 one in place. Unless you want it to look right that is?

Does that mean leaving the front diff on also? Or is it completely sealed?

Does the 2wd bolt up to the 4x4 sump?

I know one car here in norway that has the front diff in place and t5 box so yes it should fit the 4x4 sump.

That said, you don't get engine oil in your diff do you?

Just take out the shaft that goes through the sump imo.

emm im sure oddkidd said he was 290 to shorten the prob as all he was using from the old prop was the spline giving you a 3" single piece prop painted ready to fit.... as for the gap between the downpipe and the exhaust it was Dom who told me the gap was close and he changed his downpipe to a 2wd but its not just a straight forward swap, drop him a pm hes been a great help with me

I'm gonna try the 4x4 downpipe to see if it fits and deal with it then. Dom said you will need to dent the 4x4 one slightly.

Around £280 jano makes a single piece prop for my shortend 2wd prop might be for sale soon as it wont mount up to my new diff when i finally get one

And yea you can leave the 4x4 sump on, remove the diff and crosshaft and just run it like that. i was going to do it that way but i was unsure if i the starter would fit with my big wing 4x4 sump so i bought a big winged and baffled 2wd sump cheap enough
