Transit van help!!!!!

My speedo/rev counter/temp gauge has all stopped working properly..at the mo its nothing at all except going into position when ignition is turned on. Previously it works intermittedly, like rev/speedo just sticking at when working, rev counter very jerky04 plate 2.4tdci model semi auto one. Also spanner light glows very faint when its jerky and fully on when there not working, the spanner light is just for service not engine management light?

(also how do i turn it off as its been serviced!..manual says throttle down with brake pedal and hold for 15 odd seconds with ign on...but it doesnt flash as it should and go off

Van runs fine other than that! PLEASE HELP

edit was fine before it had a few months doing nothing..flat batterys...now replaced.

May not be the same, infact more than likely not, but a mate of mine had a transit connect with similar problems and he had to have a complete replacement instrument binnacle.
