Default FAO painters? my work - devilbiss gti pro T2c

Anybody else on here a paint sprayer? Just wondering if have used the new devilbiss gti pro T2C. a gun set up for clear coat only using 1.3 fluid tip and new trans tech aircap? Very nice gun to use and aplies laquer effortlessly. Heavier than the old version

had a porsche boxster in at work other day wich sumbody had kindly put a scratch down the rear qtr panel and thought be nice to test the new gun on this

applied basecoat with devilbiss gti - my old gun using 1.4 fluid tip and 110 aircap and then 2 coats of clear thruw the new gun and was well happy with the results

defo worth the muney these guns i wud highly recomend them, and anybody after any paint work doing id be more than willing to help no matter wot kind of job big or small.i have spraybake 808 spray booth.

Nice to see someone proud of his work
I have yet to find a local place that will do a turnaround like that and do a spotless job, most don't care about private work and just want the in and out insurance work

Thats cheep mate think i was 250 for the gun with the clearcoat setup and bought the th1 basecoat end cap and i was 70 quid just for the end cap but it is worth paying good money for a gun!

Cant beat a devilbiss, use them at work when we have to paint the cranes and ive got my own one at home for my cars, im no where near as good as that tho

Imo theres very few painters that take pride in there work now, round my way anyways. They just want a quick turnaround and something that looks good for a few weeks. So its good to see pride and a finish like that

Is this the same gun/set up yous have ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DeVILBISS-GTI-...item4aa5dbbf79

as i,m now needing to treat myself due to a new laquer gun

always used the older style(blue) devilbiss gti,s and managed to get myself a brand new one not long ago but my garage got broke into and they stole my brand new laquer gun ,

so a take it yous all highly recommend these before i buy one , also is there any differences in these to the older style (blue) gti,s ?

cheers

Yes thats the correct gun mate for clear/top coats, great to use. I still use older style gti aswell with 1.6 fluid tip and 110 aircap for clear coats but these use new design transtech aircap and come as standard/recomended with 1.3 fluid tip but you can also use 1.2 or 1.4 dependant on job size but 1.3 will cater for all needs. They atomise the paint so much better wich results in far less over spray and the use off less paint.
