  • My Mk Motorsport 6 degree beam

I asked mark to make a new beam for me as I wanted a few charges to my other.
    He's done a fantastic job.

I wanted it to be easy to adjust instead of hitting it back and forth, mark came up with an adjuster like a motorbike back wheel.

I wanted extra support to use coilovers

Also wanted twin rose joints to do away with the ford bush as they are expensive.

I had 3dr trailing arms and the arb pick up points are on the opposite side so mark added some more so I can use a escort arb

Double skinned inner arms so should reduce the amount of flex.

Bit confused, why would you have two different methods of adjusting toe? If the inner point is fixed (not slotted) the outer rose joint would adjust toe. You now have two lots of toe adjustment. Although it is granted that the outer toe adjustment is a bit of a twat to get to!!!

          Awesome work though
          Cheers, Kev.

I won't be using the outer rose joint to adjust the toe, ill set that standard position and use the inner adjuster to set up toe.
I only got mark to fit another rose joint because they are cheaper than a ford style bush to buy and replace.

              That looks very nice

I am sending my beam up to him to do too. And that is exactly what I was thinking to do with the other joint

                        hi
with 1 adjuster sometimes when setting toe the wheel can end up different places in the arch both sides or one side of the car a different wheel base to the other this is because of the tolerances ford have in mountings etc ,but with 2 adjusters you can move wheel backwards or forwards as well as set the toe

                        thanks mark

                          hi warren
i have seen a couple distorted its because the spring cup normally takes the weight of the car were the arm has the most strength ,then with coil overs the full weight is on that little bracket that was just meant for the damper ,so its just peace of mind really plus your sure all the movement is through the coilover and not some of it the bracket flexing

                          thanks mark
