Speak with Mark Barber after you have become a RSOC member if your not already, get the car checked over and the relivent paperwork sent over.

Then speak with Paul and give him any details on the valuation he will need. Job done

Jakki speak to PaulB, all this valuation thing is a waste of time now as you can get a agreed value based on basic value plus what invoices for aftermarket parts you have fitted

Who told you an agreed value is a waste of time Chris ?

thats one hell of a statement to make , Im not saying you maybee wrong , I would just think that an official valuation cant do anything but help if the worsed should happen

without an official valauation most insurers will just send in a loss ajuster , Have you ever delt with these people , lol

I know the RSOC wouldn't value my car for what my insurer has agreed it for based on their modified policy thats all i meant Paul, i'm sure the RSOC would value the car but what is the policy of aftermarket parts as my policy covers all parts that are invoiced for

so you could be better off with receipts than a valuation then

I sure wouldnt , But each to there own

Im not going to get into a debate regards insurance as we all have our own opinions

All i know is i have had over 15 years experiance in dealing direct with various / most insurers and know exactly how they work when it comes to paying out large amounts of wonga ( they dont like it )

I have seen there " get outs " time and time again and seen people be thousands out of pocket , and even finding there insurance being invalid due to the most stupid little oversight you could ever imagine .

Its down to the individuale to make sure the small print hasnt got any issues and if there happy then the old saying is " you pays your money and you takes your chance "

Now with me being a tight northern git i dont like to gamble so i insure my cars all on agreed valuations with insurers that have been proven many times that if the worst happens you get exactly what your agreed value states ,
Its easy to save a few quid and think everything is fine , but you will only find out after you claim and if it all goes wrong then its far to late

As i say its up to the individual to do what they see fit
