Hi All,
as per the previous three years, we're going to produce some calendars again for 2018.
This year we are doing the same format as the 2017 ones, which means the calendars will have 2 pages on show at once, kind of think of it as two pieces of landscape A4 one above the other. These will be stapled and drilled rather than wiro bound too.
Few things about the calendars:
We only want pictures of taken by owners.
This year we'd like 5 images max per owner, preferably of their own car (anymore than 5 will be ignored i'm afraid folks, I've done this before and it'll be hard enough to choose with 5 per owner).
Pictures must be your own, we're not getting sued for copyright - sorry, no exceptions. By emailing them you are saying that you have permission to use them.
Whilst you don't have to be David Bailey with £2k worth of kit, we do need images that are well presented (ie: not cropped awkwardly, out of focus etc) Images must be high enough quality to use for print, no dodgy low quality web images.
The closing date is Saturday 28th October. Email your images to escortrscosworthforum@gmail.com bearing in mind:
1) Your user name included in the email title.
2) The images MUST be labelled as your user name (for example don't use "IMG_123456.jpg as I don't have time to sort through these and rename them). Images not named won't be used.
3) The images must be high quality, if they aren't then we'll let you know and ask for better quality. If you don't have anything better then we may not be able to use them.
All calendar pages will have room for more than one image, so there will be more than 13 lucky owners getting their cars featured.
They will be available to preorder and pay late November - more details to follow on this.
Look forward to receiving your pictures
Simon
(Ps - I know point 2 above sounds a bit pedantic but last year it took pretty much 40 hours for me to put that together as it as a faff sorting who's images were who's and ensuring no one was missed. I don't have that amount of free time this year - I don't charge the site for my design/artworking/photo correction time, I do this for nothing but that means it must be as easy as possible.
