  • In Progress - Moving the site to https - Sunday 15th October

Just some prior warning to you all, I will be making some changes on Sunday 15th October to move the site over to use SSL Certificates and therefore all traffic will switch to using the secure https protocol. The change should only take around 10minutes to complete.

You shouldn't notice any issues as I shall be trying to automatically redirect you, should you be using an old bookmark or link, however there is a small chance that this may not work, if you come across this then I would advice you to use the following link (it might also be worth updating your old bookmarks etc... to reference https instead of http)
    https://www.EscortRSCosworth.com/forum/index.php

Should you have any other issues then you can always email me at EscortRSCosworth@outlook.com

    Ben

It means, you'll have a secure connection between your browser and the web server, so all data would be encrypted and harder for anyone to get at and steal passwords etc......

Well I think that has done it, I've tested on Chrome and the front page is registering as Secure, not sure on others after that but I did find a couple of smillies on some threads still reference http

Yeah seems to be all sorted although I do think a lot of the signatures are causing issues, it seems those URL's need updating to https. But the login page etc.. should be Secure now
