I will never sell mine as i love the car and there is nothing else that can touch the enjoyment i get from it so the value is irrelevant for me apart from having the correct insurance cover.

I have owned mine for 20odd years and when i bought it was my dream car, i have come really close a 2 occasions but pulled out at the last minute and really glad i did, i will never sell now, cannot wait to get it back up and running. I can only see the values rising TBH. Supply and demand.

The entire car market is cyclical. Whilst rates are low, investors look for other ways of earning and hence cars, art, gold etc go up in value. As interest rates rise the big investors will sell their high value cars to invest their money and this causes the market to drop throughout .It happens every 15-20 years or so and it will happen again. In my opinion, now's a good time for investors to get out of the market but like all investments, don't be in for more than you can afford to lose. Then again, if I'm wrong and they keep going up at the rate they are and you do sell up, then can you afford to buy back in, in a couple of years time? It's all a gamble. Luckily mines not an investment so I don't need to think about these things.

The escos was one of two cars I wanted as a youngster, the other one was an F40 and can’t ever see me getting one of those anytime soon.. I have already sold my escos once which was a huge mistake as it was sold to fund a wedding that never happened.. luckily I was able to buy it back some time later but it’s back none the less... the only way I’ll part with it now is if I really really have to.. hard to know what will happen with them price wise in the short term, long term once the Uk finally leaves the EU that could have a bearing on prices who knows... I can’t see many been exported after this happens as importing one to a EU country could sky rocket... I hope to keep hold of mine until I’m an old man as there’s nothing else out there in the same price bracket that could replace it for me...
