  • General Question - New ownership-Next service

Hey, Finally managed to secure ownership! A genuine, late T25, low mileage example in Lux spec.

However, I'm undecided on who to entrust with looking after her going forward. Do I opt to put my faith in our local ford dealership and insist on a senior technician or do I go down the specialist route and (hope) they understand the type of car it is and the mechanics?

    Thoughts and comments greatly received.

the trouble is most of the car parts are unavailable now and i can tell you my ford dealer would not bother to seek them where as a specialist will and if you choose a good one they will go the extra mile.

Had my one set-up by Mark earlier in the year, great service and car goes great.
Even better for you as local, bit of a trek from Southampton!

Congrats on securing one, and welcome to the forum. We needs pics to properly answer your question.

I trust me to maintain mine. A good specialist like Mark, who is well regarded round here, is the next best choice.
              Cheers

Pics will definitely follow!! Sounds like I may have found the man in Mr Shead! I don't suppose anyone has had any luck with the RSOC and arranging a written valuation. Been disappointed with them so far. Two calls three emails and nothing.

When I was arranging mine I experienced the same. At that time they only had one person in the office manning the phones / e-mail account, which was the main cause of the delay......
