Tidy example there Dunc, but I gotta say it doesn't have the same presence as the escort did. But I bet it's a very fun car

In my eyes it does and in the flesh it's very different plus the noise they make is just fantastic

It' very different to any cossy and I have had a few
loved my escort but felt I had done as much as I could with it over the 13 years and just got to the point of had enough, tried the mk2 focus for a few years and that was fine and once I had spent about £15 k on it that went quite well, but fancied change and so tried Porsche.
must say the GT range suit me well as I wanted a fast car out the box that didn' need modding to make quick or reliable for track ect and so the GT4 fitted the bill very well, plus once i drove it i was hocked, the way it drives, the way it goes round bends and the quality of it all is just fantastic, yes it cost a few quid but so far it' only gone up and it' been free motoring even if I take in fuel costs and insurance ECT
              so carnt complain

still like the Ford stuff and would love to have a nice big garage that I could have filled with nice ones over the years but I haven' lol but i tend to find my spare time these days lusting after other porsches rather than fords

Work does tend to take over more so these days which is a shame as I am working harder these days and spare time seems sparse

2 more pics just for you guys that like a Porsche now and again
love the seats in this and the yellow stitching goes well along side the carbon, leather and alcon, plus the carbon brakes are unbelievable, no dust and the stopping power is mental but it does have 410 mm discs up front and 390 mm on the rear and massive calipers and pads, so it should stop well, plus the car is quite light which also helps.
