I purchased these fitting bars from XYZ fabrications I think it was, and had to play around with configurations of mounting and made it all fit in the end. Mine is an Airtec ic with an unknown alloy rad and fans.

that looks like it will be putting a lot of strain on the end of the bracket, the centre hole of the bracket should bolt to the chassis leg then you have one fixing hole each side of it as in the pic of darrens, sometimes you need a slimline fan conversion if theres not enough clearance

I bolted it up that way to start with but yes couldn’t get the fan clearance. The bracket is the same thickness all the way along and basically the front part of the bracket is just not used so doesn’t really need to be there with my configuration. As it’s the same thickness all the way across I don’t see how it causes any excess strain with no extra weight that would be on the bracket if fitted up in the first picture. It’s has been fitted up for nearly two years now all good and solid still.

Thanks for the replies! I ordered brackets from Dave at XYZ. Will post how it goes. I got the Airtec 60mm from MSD.

Usually rad sits at back, intercooler on front and middle hole to mount to chassis
