  • Should I call the AA?

My escos hasn't been started since...well some time last year, the battery went dead even though it was on a trickle charger and i pretty mush just left it. I put a new battery in the car today and its not starting, turning over isn't a problem just not starting....anything i should look at or should I call the experts?

May sound obvious, but check you have all the cables attatched to the battery, its easy to get one stuck under it or tangled so that you miss it.
also check you'e not disturbed the multi plug connectors to the left of the battery.

I’ll go over the battery again.
Had the AA out and he thinks it may be the immobiliser cutting the fuel pump off.
ive been in touch with John at MVturbos and he’s going to look at it if I can get it to him this week, need at running as it’s going to Gibby’s for paint on Saturday

have you tried opening the door with the key to make sure you havnt activated the factory imobiliser? just lock and unlock it and see if that does anything

I had the same problem, turned out I had missed out one of the connections to the battery. Had left the car for 6 months as was so annoyed it wouldn't start. Was a 2 minute fix in the end

I went over it again and couldn't see anything, I'm not to mechanically minded when it comes to cars, i usually make things worse
