    Been after a 80mm stack 3 bar gauge for 8 years now , find one and its £1000 , might never get a chance to get one again do I go for it , or it a crazy price ? Wife thinks I lost the plot lol, any opinions

    Haha I feel your pain. I have been looking into getting some Stack gauges too, and also need one that reads up to high pressure (2.5 bar). I don't know why the modern Stack ones are so low pressure?! I am tempted just to go for their 2 bar version. I couldn't stomach paying £1K for a gauge.....

      I would buy another make, get somebody to copy the graphics and stick over the top £1000.00 thats just crazy.

          Wow... ofcourse if someone rebuilding s genuine car that should have it, and need it, the price is "acetable" but no way i would pay that for it just to get a 3bar boost gauge.

            It's what they used in the group a escorts pretty rare , as its 80mm , offered £600 and turned me down flat , all ways wanted one , so if anyone one please sell it me

                Really after the genuine stack one , I have a Elliot 80mm @ and that's quite rare but it's not a period stack one, but thanks for the link

                    If you want one that bad and its worth it to you, and you can afford it go for it. Some people (like my missus) would not pay £500 for a mint low miles EsCos, she has no interest. She will however pay £800 for a handbag. Riddle me that one.

                      Yes if thats the one you "must" have, try increase your bid abit... Sometimes (allot of times actually) we just have to pay for those pieces we must have... Everything rare will not go down in value aslong as there Are a marked for it..
