  • Brake pressure pump

I cannot get the pump to build up pressure therefore hard pedal and no rear brakes. I had it all apart to clean it up all back together 100% ( I think) no pressure tried a vaccum to help prime up. Big fat nothing Anyone know anything about this part ? or maybe point me in the right direction. Thanks folks.

Do you still have the original ABS block? Air locks are notoriously hard to get rid of.

Nothing at the rears. At the moment I the pump attached to an old Master Cylinder on the floor just for fluid feed purpose. These are a separate system apart from the feed pipe coming from the pump side. When I power up the pump it really should pump fluid out with good pressure but of course with me it don't

I have it on the floor at the moment just connected to a battery. Motor is going no problem it should pump out fluid to go to the master cylinder but nothing doing. I have it all apart now but cannot take apart the area where the impeller responsible for forcing it through.

did you try it to see if it pumped fluid ok just into a bucket or something? maybe its pumping fine but cant force it through the master due to airlocks

Tommi, check there is fluid coming through from the abs block, don’t no the name of it but the brake pipe that connects to it at the abs block could be blocked, seen that before

It is on the ground off the car completely wired directly to a battery so there is no blockage like that. It is not putting fluid into or up to the accumulator.
