General Question - radio codes question

a long shot but is it possible to get the radio codes from the serial no of the radio and CD players. for years I have had a JVC radio cassette in my cosworth and some time ago I came across a console with the original radio and CD player in it I have the wiring as well an am looking at fitting them back into my car.

Ford dealer will provide them with the serial number of the cd player and radio

the issue is that the car in question the ones the radio a CD player came out of came from hong kong.
