        Apparently the first 50 engine numbers of a type are development engines.
        #051 of each type was the display engine for the factory to copy on all production engines thereafter.

          I can't open that link, but most of the stuff on display has no internals such as rods, pistons, valves etc and were built up with sub standard castings that couldn't be used in production.

              Seen Cosworth posted this on their social media feed last night - does say about it possibly being suitable for restoration...but expect all lots say that? Reserve already met at £1500...

                    Reserve was met at 1000 when i posted IT not sure what its buildt up of... early 200 or maybe Even 205, 2wd inlet++
