Yeah they do look like a wheel trim, in a way I kind of like them, i'll bet they'd look nice on a Fez turbo

because the lips were chewed to bits so i suppose by the time they were cleaned up there wasnt much left so he decided to go the whole hog, id have thought the lip would provide extra strength though
