18” Escort Wheels spacers

Just wondering.

Just bought a set of 18 inch Escort wheels they need spacers to stop my brakes hitting. what size spaces do you use ?

Photos would be good with what size spacers.

Havent got photos at the moment but I have 6 pot calipers with 362mm discs and I put on 3mm spacers which allowed a 3-4mm gap from the face of the calipers.

Yeh I had to use 3mm spacers 2, as mine was touching my 6 pots.

3mm spacers on the front for 355 6 pots, nothing required on the rear for 330 4 pots

Lovely thanks chaps, are there different off sets for them.

Think.... i’m not sure though mine are the first sets that came out as they’re made in the UK, so it says stamped in the wheels

the very first 18” came in 2diff offsets, the ones off here though were all 18x9 and et20 , if you have the orig copys then you may need a bigger spacer than mentioned. i had some once and they wouldnt clear my ap4 pots and 330 so sold them on

think hes on about the very first copies from yrs ago. not the 9””” inch wide ones

If I remember correctly the first batch of reps were made (or sold) by prestige wheels and sold through eBay, they were standard et25 offset.

Yeah I’m sure I’be got one of the first sets 8 x 18 is made in UK stamped in the back.

they fit over my brakes just need to space them away from the hub like has been said only 3 or 4 mm needed

but i dont want the wheels to sit in to far in the wings,
the centre of the wheel only comes out 35 mm till hit hits the hub.

My comps are like 70mm if you can see where I’m coming from.

Is it just a case of getting 30mm spaces or is that going to be hideously stupid ?

tbh, I would rather get the wider set than run spacers.
