original hardware finish for cossie restoration.

Hi folks. i'm doing a mild restoration (mostly engine, chassis and suspension stuff under the car) since the car is down for an extended period of time anyway. was wondering if there's a convenient place to find out what's the original finish for the standard bolts since i plan to have them redone/recoated. i understand they are probably going to be black oxide or silver?

I'm not an expert at all but pretty sure many of the bolts were silver with a blue tag of paint on them..
