  • Help help Poor running on small turbo

Hey peeps looking for abit of help, I have recently finished putting back together my small turbo escort cosworth. With a freshly built engine by Pj motorsport. On start up It seem to have poor running and rough idle. Pj did some diagnoses on the car and found that it is fueling really lean on idle and at revs. We checked for air leaks, car has correct fuel pressure and delivery rate. He thinks it maybe a sensor issues, map or airflow meter.

has any had any issues similar, or local to me to maybe let me borrow your sensor to rule my issues out before I buy any expensive ones. Or have any spares forsale. I live on the wirral.

    small turbo.

    any help would be great.

Air flow meter is the primary sensor for fueling.

HEGO trims fueling at idle and cruise.

        Rebuilt, what mods?
        Cheers

Other inlet cam? Checked AFR. I never tryd it but normaly when the HEGO/Lambda sensor disconnect the car should run without. But used memory data.only for checking. Can you make a noise check with a Ozzi for the MAP and TPS sensor?

It will need to be tuned to suit the cam.

Tried once to chip my st... endet with ADAC.. Now use a ms3Pro learn much. So tune a st but it's not so easy. You need sombody with knowledgeabout the system. And every hardware change need software update...

Before engine was rebuilt it was running 380bhp small turbo model

jamsport had done all the work to the car before I owned it

The car starts up revs like on cold start revs drop down then car stalls
