    The resistances are normal.
    With a battery voltage of 13v, the voltage at the gauge should be about 6.9v empty and 2.7v full.

    Short the lead that goes to the sender to earth and see if the gauge goes to full. If it does it proves the gauge is okay and the fault is the sender.

    hi guys im having trouble with my fuel gauge it dont work correctly
    iv done some checks and from what i can see the sender unit in tank
    is working fine according to the ohms check but my
    fuel gauge will only go half way when sender is saying full
    could i have a doggy fuel gauge my ohms check was empty 149.7and when full 22.7 can any one help me out as its driving me mad not knowing how much fuel i got
