First of all apologies if this has been done to death ,

Just trying to get a general feel of esc cos prices for a good example, I'm.not talking concourse or silly low mileage cars, just your average mileage good example thats been owned by an rs member etc

I know prices have been in the up for the last few years but looking into buying one "possibly"

Anything to look out for and do cloth trims fetch more than leather trims etc

I've currently got a sapphire and had a mk2 focus rs so not a timewaster, just value everyone's opinion

as for prices.....

for a nice escort and not a bin i think you are looking at close to £45k-£50k however the ones up for sale that are advertised higher, im not too sure if they are selling.

you may get lucky and find one through friends etc...that may know a car is for sale and get in first for a reasonable amount before a trader tries to sell it for a bit higher.

you may find one at the auctions too and they have not been making too higher prices, though depending on what the cars condition is like.
