I have got 245 35 18 on my 9” escort wheels Dave, easier to find than the 255 width ones i thought.

pics of the wheels and tyres in the show and shine section.

255’s cause issues on the rears on a 9” rim Dave, I had them on my last set and no matter how much I messed with the offset it still caught on the inside or outside

      im on 245’s now

Dave did you like the ride with the 255s? I did not.. the car was reading a lot the road... How is now with the 245s?

              hey George

they were only fitted to the rears buddy so cannot comment on that, although I now have 245’s all round and for the limited time I’ve driven it I haven’t really noticed much difference to the 225’s that were originally fitted at the front, but that said, the roads are pretty dire around here and the car would sometimes tramline even when it was on 225’s

                Hi Dave,
I understand that roads make significant difference but my experience on 255s is that is not the right size for the car. I made almost 8000 Kms & I didn't liked the handling much... Maybe 245s can be better & it could be nice for someone here to share it if he has safe conclusions. I love the replicas 9X18 but I need to find the right size... Currently I am back on 225s on 8X18 wheels.

You're on the 9x18 reps aren't you George? When I drove Abes' car with those wheels fitted with 255's I thought it drove terrible tbf, the wheels just seem way to heavy for my liking which made the steering really heavy and it tram lined a lot, im not sure if it was tyre related or not as I only drove it for a few miles but I didn't like it at all and neither did Abes as he sold the wheels not long after.

Hope you are doing well mate, that picture frame was posted several weeks ago so hopefully it will be with you soon

Yes I was Dave on replica wheels thus my feeling same as yours! I am not sure I will fit them again! Compare to the 8X18s TH I have there is not significant difference on weight.
I am doing fine & receive it last week! Thanks mate!
