"rally" ratio gearbox

Consider a gearkit for one of my cossies now, its "sadly" a rslly kit with 2.48:1 first... Anyone run that with 3.9 diffs?

These are my ratio’s, geared to 175mph at 7.5k rpm, still 3.6

Would prefer a more "street friendly" ratio, but this was avilable local here now. I bought it, so will see. I think i have similar in my escos with the rwd group a getrag, but on stock 3.6 rear there. Bought it including dropgear for 4,4 rear diff, if is "hopeless" with 3.9
