loosen the front sleeve is a 46mm 12 edge socket
Rear mainshaft nut is 38mm 12edge (i think i have 36mm 6 edge on my r&d 6 speed box)
I used a clutchdisc that i welded a nut on, to hold the inputshaft when loosen the rear main nut.
If I have to be honest, when I broke a box on a stage, it was broke. Lots of input gear shapnell firing round the rest of the box usually wrote it off.
I never broke PD SC gear kit though.

Input sleeve? That was "easy" since i have the correct homemade socket. The "only" struggle i had was basickly the mainshaft nut on rear of gearkit, but came "easily" when managed to strap the box to the trailer and long pipe to get some force on it.

I gave up too. Ended up taking them to RED' transmition guy Hugo. He could fix a box while I was still thinking about it.
That input shaft nut was the issue.

Getting there. Waiting on the sleeve and bearing for 3 gear. Recomended to change it, since risk of damage when dismantle, so i ordered a new, sonce dont whant to risk the box and car basickly, if crack and lock up the box...

Came "easily" now when strapped the box to the trailer. I made all my tools for this. Now i only need to buy/find puller tool for the sleeve on mainshaft...

I made a special tool for it.
Another way to do it is to first buy a new one, and then grind down the nut so it is almost through.
