I'm a new member myself. Have the Escort about 9 months now and would throw up my rebuild pics but I can't seem to get in contact with anyone to get full approval for the site.

I also have a 3dr and used to be on the forums about 10-15 years ago regularly when I got it first. Was surprised when I joined this forum how quiet it is but I think it's like what's said above, that everything has moved towards Facebook. I'm not on it so forums are my only source of information.

Not much help, but would happily put up my project pics.

I think we lost a fair few members when we transitioned to the new site set up as many had loads of issues and it was harder to navigate than when it was on Tapatalk etc

As we all know , not many have the Escort as our main car, I wonder if we could entice old members back or in fact any member of this site to blog about their present no 1 ride.
Would a sub forums of members car manufacturers for eg I have a Disco so "Landrover" and would love to talk to members who have had one ref issues etc.
Is it even feasible to become more like Pistonheads, 6speed etc.?

Easy to lose interest if you don’t use the car etc, must admit I’ve been waiting for my one to be sorted a while now and starting to get impatient.
Just need to make sure we post any updates etc on the cars!
There are a few image hosting sites that make sorting pictures easy

Been a member since 2015 but Iv only recently started checking the forum every day again after purchasing a well known old members car after a long break in ownership from a cossie.
It definitely seems a lot a lot quieter than it used to be, but still a good place to look back at old posts for info!

Sadly all forums dying out. The biggest problem i see now, is all the old info starting too get impossible to find, since several old forums get deleted. I try too answere if can. And offcourse many of the old ones have moved on, cars still around are falling every year, abd probaly many of the new owners have no idia or interest about forums.

Still here, still got the Escort, looks like I'm user/member number 11 since the start. But not much exciting happening on here for a long time, generally how most forums seem to be these days.
Seems to be most popular to bring them back to standard and talk about high values and low mileage these days.

Hey up.
Im now starting year 12 with this forum and I can say this is the quietest ive ever known.
Where is every one . Back then I got the nick name 20 posts a day because as a newbie thats all you could do......every one was on the forum. All sorts of banter and chit chat. Is there an alternative site some have moved too. I know there was moaning that this site was starting to become like Passion Ford and were unhappy.
Is that what has happened??
