I am just starting to strip and get my engine bay fully sorted. I feel totally deflated now - I can only dream that mine will turn out that good. It is simply awesome.
If it is ok with you Dave, I may well be asking you loads of questions about what you have used to spray / coat / and prep all the bits and pieces? Actually, first question. Zinc on the nuts and bolts, where do you go for that, and is it costly?

Feel free to ask as many as you like Paul.
Zinc, all the front end/suspension/gearbox nuts, bolts & washers cost roughly £100 to have re-zinc'd. I prepped them myself though so saved a few quid there.
Oh & thanks for the nice comments mate.

Dave, mines not changed much for a good while, I did swap the badges on the back to go back to original big turbo ones and a light blue Ford badge, but have been dealing with long term health issues so haven't really been able to dedicate the time
I finish work in a weeks time as being made redundant so providing my health improves I will be able to spend some time on it until I get a new job.
