Hi All,
Spent most of the day trying to figure out what's going on with the reader! So, I've managed to get two codes out of it, one was 2 and 2 and the other is 2 and 4 so turns out according to Mr Google! 2 flashes then 2 flashes say it's the right hand front wheel sensor? Then 2 and 4 is the brake fluid reservoir filler cap! So! I started with the wheel sensor and checked ohms which came back in range at 1200 ohms. At this stage I didn't have a real great multimeter. So I tried the old sensor I have and same result. Didn't know what else to do, so I pulled connection plugs off brake reservoir and cleaned them with contact cleaner with no change to codes! Then had the shits , so drove it to my local auto elec to see if he knew anything about the code reader or how to go about working out how to solve the problem? Which he informed me to get a decent multimeter and check for connectivity which I did and tested the plugs on the brake reservoir which the back wires with three connects beeped when I stuck the probes in but the front with two didn't? Any information regarding this would be much appreciated. Just don't know if I'm barker up the right tree, so to speak!

Have you checked continuity all the way from the ABS module to the sensor and cap? I'm not fully understanding your description of the tests you did on the cap.

Code 22 & 24 are valve block faults from the closest info I have. LH & RH front inlet solenoids.

The attached is for a Granada of similar vintage.

The info I have is not EsCos specific, but is Teves relevant.

Can't hurt to check the valves
