Reverse switch

My reverse cable isn’t connect. I have a hydraulic clutch fitted and the cable on the sensor is round with 5 round holes and a slot in it. I can’t find where it plugs into. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I would post a pic but can’t, sorry.

Thanks. That’s what mine looks like. I don’t know where the round plug on the end of the wire goes to though. Where does yours go? Is it round also with 5 round holes in it?
