    you can see the propper puller for the job in this pic it's the black round thing with the bolt in it.
    I borrowed it off a m8 to do mine last year

    I bought the proper puller off of ebay for about £18 a year or so ago. It's a great replica of the proper Ford puller and works a treat.

    I just use a std hub puller, it attaches to the 3 tapped holes on the front pulley with 8mm bolts, you then screw a larger bolt through the centre which butts up to the crankshaft bolt and draws the pulley off that way. It's a bit bulky which means the rad & fans need to come out first though.

    the nut came undone no bother on mine. The bearing puller that Paul lists is exactly what I used, however you'll need the radiator out to get that on. The one Rolls has can be fitted and used with the radiator in place.

    the nut was the hardest thing to undo nut that holds it, I used a freeze spray and a 2ft breaker and scaffold tube to crack it off

    I've got one - screws into the 3 holes in the front of the pulley - removes them a piece of piss!

    yeh heard they are a bit off a nightmare, my mate who does all my mechanical work said it took him best part of an hour to get the pulley off my old escos

    I had to use a three pronged tool that slowly winds the pully off, bolt is easy to undo but the pulley can be a nightmare and they are known to break too. I think there is s tool you can get that means you can do it without removing the rad/cooler. Cossiecrazy has one I think.

    You need to remove the radiator and intercooler and then you need a powerful Impact Wrench. But would be nice if there is a tool out there that remove the pulley without removing these parts.
