Water Leaks again

Right thought my head gasket had gone as lost load of water couple of months ago but found water leak by thermostat on that pipe that goes done side of engine so took pipe apart and fit new piece and alsoit was a bit lose and on a funny angle. Any way put new stat in at time so it would run cooler and Bobs your uncle or so i thought. 2 weeks ago lost load of water again but could not find a leak so filled it up with water and sqashed all the pipes etc and then gave up and slamed the garage door. Had a look today and water was leaking out of fins on radiator at top where hose connects. Now is this just bad luck or is this head gasget that is puting pressure in my water system, but if so why is the cap on stainless header tank not lifting to lose pressure out of there. Fookin thing is doin my head in

where the top rad hose fits just behind there you have the inner core well it looks like it was coming out of there when you squashed the pipes so anyway took the rad out to send of tomorrow but seems strange that i have had to leaks as rad is only 2 years old and is a radtech item

easiest way is to get one of those testing kits to see if you have any exhaust gases in your header tank,that way at least it will put your mind at rest

I don't quite understand where your leak is but it is very difficult to see where it comes from when the gasket behind the water pump is gone.
Just pressurize the system up to 2bar and you will easily hear/see where the leak is. If it's not inside the engine off course..

Radman please can you tell me where you get one of those testing kits from Prob not very well explained but found the leaks now but why have i had 2 in quick sucsession and why has the rad gone as thought 2 much pressure should have blown radiotor cap on ally expansion tank. has the head gasket gone and that is what is pressurising the system to make it leak

Thanks Radman, have ordered some and will try it as soon as i get my neew radiator in today
