Just like to say a big Thank You to all those that turned out for 'dads Day Out' at Dunsfold Aerodrome yesterday
I know many travelled from far and wide for this and as a result the Ford stand was excellent...... sorry it wasn't a bit warmer but at least it didn't rain....... well, not properly anyway
We may have had a stand next to the Porshe 911's and up a bit from Ferrari etc but i think our display was just as interesting to the public as anything else there as we had quite an eclectic mix with 'Old School Ford' forum being with us aswell
We were short of a few things like an RS500 RS200 to name a couple but it didn't really matter on the day and i was very proud to lead you all onto the Runway
Only big regret of the day really was the fact that i had a slot available to get a suitable RS car on track for charity passenger rides which would have been the icing on the cake but depite best efforts Mike R couldn't make the deadline and none of the tuner cars were available even though Mark Shead turned up on the day (Nice to meet you Mark) if i'd have thought it through i could have spoke to him about getting a car from his stable along and him driving
Highlight of the day for me was right at the end of the track session i managed to get myself strapped into a Ferrari F40 for a couple of laps
a few of us managed this throughout the day and i was a little worried that the ultimate poster car would be a bit of a let down and the dream would be shattered
.......... but need not have worried............ like Muhammed Ali some legends will live forever and may never be defeated........ at the top of the first straight the driver asked if i was ok as i looked a little pale (never been a good passenger lol) but by time we got back to the drop off point they had to call security to drag me out as i didn't want to leave and decided i would spend the rest of my life in that car

I've seen the other pic threads and my pics are a bit crap in comparison so i'll just put a few
The proffesional video's will be out soon and i'll post them up when they are and when i find out how much you all helped to raise for the Childrens Trust i'll let you know.......... well done guys & girls
Neil on his F40 lap...........
