wenny, we don't talk like that at cleveland meets, we have just had our meeting and the main topic was
deciding if we are going to the titty club in the boro at the end of our xmas party like we did last year!
even my wife went in there with me lol
she gave me a funny look when I returned from a lap dance tho pmsl

anyway back to the plot, I totally agree with mike, the rsoc does need all rs owners and enthusiasts to join, the magazine is a good read but it's only as good as the input.same with the club the more input the more you get out of it

The only real benefit that I see is to keep the RS marque afloat. If the membership dwindles significantly, it will be a sign to the suits at Ford that the RS badge is of little significance, so will mean they will reconsider future models .

I agree with that 100% Mike

I can also tell you for certain that the "suit's" at FMC do take note's and do actually have internet access too.

Who know's they may use this site too

as said, you can join the rsoc as an assciate member you still get the mag the only thing you can't do it put your car on a local group stand

you don't have to own an rs to join the cleveland group (dicko for example is a long time member and has no rs)
you don't even have to be a full rsoc member to join the cleveland group but we do actively encourage it.
we meet at the myton house farm Ingleby Barwick on the second monday of the month at 7pm

If that is the case, can I just add that they are idiots for not making the new FRS 4wd. In the damp with the current mapping (no throttle position boost map) and Quaife ATB, the car wheelspins (and tramps BADLY) in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The public are going to be moaning more than they did with the old one .

The friends I have made is the only added bonus IMO

did you not start off in a fiesta turbo though jase? and them realise it couldnt keep up with the black beauty?

i have to agree with mike on this. mine is due up next month but i will re-join much to tracey's disgust.

the trouble is the people that are in control do tend to be a bit odd,and out for themselves rather than the good of the club imo

The turbo they have used will limit the tuning potential in the same way that the ST version is limited to 250-260bhp (only 25-30bhp up on standard).

The handling is a dream, but the steering is ultra sensitive - so the GP are going to HATE it .
