My brother chopped my dust covers to bits when he fitted mine, but I'm sure you can just bend them?

they need a lump cutting out of them so its far easier to get some off monster ready done, his arent shaped/contoured like the orig ones but do the same job, plus you can sell your others on if theyre decent cond

Just doing mine. It looked like the caliper would miss the dust cover. But mine is the Reyland kit so don't know if they are different.

Will have to have another look if it ever stops raining!!!

its because the bracket moves the caliper forward an inch or so,if you cut the plate then you end up with a big gap one side and it looks terrible, unless you cut the same amount out each side to balance it up which then looks even worse lol

What are you doing for a hand / Parking brake. If you are relying on just a hydraulic handbrake then you will fall foul of the MOT. The rules say there must be an independent, mechanically operated safety (aka hand brake) fitted.
Have you a way around this. If not PM me and I will tell you one.

Thats cool, wish those kits were out when I did mine ( years ago) as I fitted AP's and a handbrake fix.

Thats the correct way to go about it. Nice bit of workmanship.
There is also a much much quicker way that keeps to the letter of the rules although its a joke really. Full Hydraulic Handbrake with a mechanical aid.I did it the later way on the Rally Car to get it to pass an MOT.

will the rear braided brake hoses still fit or will they be too short?
