  • aux pulley advise.. plz mr shead? jimbo?

for some reason my cam belt is hanging about 0.5mm over the front of my vernior pulleys since i done my cambelt change, is a small worry i think, heres how it stands..

i never took of the bottom pulley and ive checked its tight
the verniors havent been touched or changed
ive even refitted the old tensioner to see if its that and its still the same..

the only thing i can think of is i may have slightly bent the aux pulley trying to lever the bottom pulley off before i gave up and sliped it round..
it looks the slightest untrue when its spinning but its hard to tell really

how hard is the aux pulley to remove? and are they the same as a yb cam pulley?

    cheers

                You lost me

Its like the sierra cosworth bumper indicators and the escort cosworth bumper indicators

Things get reused for different cars

The centre bore of cosworth cam pulleys is smaller than the Aux so you carnt mix them, so your right there but as i remember the cvh cam is larger and is matched to the same size as a cosworth Aux
