  • Best gear lever gaiter nowadays

Who sells the best gear lever gaiters for the Escos nowadays, I have bought a few before but never liked them as they just didn't look right.
I managed to track down some very similar looking to original material and I planned to have that made into a new one from an original template, but my tailor (Mum) has been unable to stitch the pieces together as her machine just isn't man enough for the job

So what are the best looking and closest to original ones please, with pics if poss

    gear lever Gaiter

Hi I just bought one of these from Ebay - Top Gaiters £8.99
    tem number: 230603296990

. It looks to be good quality but can you tell me firstly how to get the knob/ reverse collar off?- 1993 car and secondly how to unattach the lower part? is it a console out job?

Knob is pull or screw off. You have to remove the console to get to the old gaitor fixings.

Just doing mine too this weekend as it happens. It's a bit time consuming as all the centre console has to come out and fixing the new gaiter in is the most tricky part - you'll need a staple gun really. As for the gaiter I got mine off eBay. The quality is very good.
