Best Rear 300mm Brake kit

Right I know there are two rear brake kit's on the market one from Mr Rainbird and the other from Mr hadland.
Can people who have them tell me what is good and bad about them.
The only thing I know is that the Reyland one has bigger (better?) disk area and therefore doesn't rust.
Do they both come with longer metal brake pipes and what sort of prices you can get them for ?

You're getting confused with the Comp Brake ones which have a huge disc area. Mine and Martin's are very similar and both come with hoses (AFAIAA). You actually want a SMALL disc area, as it looks a bit shit when the disc is old and only half of it is being used, as you get a huge rusted area of unused disc.

The picture shows grooved disks can you do drilled so they would match my Drilled AP fronts.

Yes, but I would recommend you go for grooved so that WHEN you replace your drilled discs with grooved ones (after the drilled ones have cracked ), they will then match . Choice is yours, no cost difference .

I bought mine off mike & am very pleased with them , he had the grooves cut into them to match my front AP,s & the rear bell machined to match also

couldnt fault them, but would advise you to still paint a small area around the bell to stop rust

I got mine from new from Polaris escos but unsure if they are a rainbird one?? I've had to paint half inch near the bell to stop it rusting and looking unsightly.

All have pro s and cons , not as vital as choosing your fronts tho!!

DEFO Rainbird is the man for this job done mine and even matched the front brakes (grove and colour)

You're looking at £480 delivered, which includes for the new bolts that you will need (as they're only supposed to be used once).
