Personally I think its more about the content than the grandma

Whilst I bang my head in frustration at my children when they drop their "T"`s and abbreviate their words.
Whilst I get really aggrieved at the "text" speak, I would rather have the community spirit.

i use spell check on most post's but it gets confused with my crap spelling

agreed, as long as you understand what they're trying to say .. then its all good... alot of the time its the typing that causes the errors I think....

Me too Chas. I don't think my grammar is terrible, however I don't care if anyone else's is, as long as I can understand them!

Its good to be picked up on our English by our continental cousins though!

That was just a slip I know the difference.

I agree that the content is most important BUT if we try our best to write correctly it will be easier to read for everyone

Lesson #3: Learning the difference between these three words: They're There Their.

They're = They are
There = somewhere specific. Example: Over THERE on the sofa.
Their = Someone owns somethig: It was THEIR car.
