Personally I think its more about the content than the grandma

Whilst I bang my head in frustration at my children when they drop their "T"`s and abbreviate their words.
Whilst I get really aggrieved at the "text" speak, I would rather have the community spirit.

i couldn't care less is someone makes a small error bashing out replys on a forum if its 99% right and understandable.

its not course work or a exam

we would knacker the Norwegies if we typed phonetically

agreed, as long as you understand what they're trying to say .. then its all good... alot of the time its the typing that causes the errors I think....

Me too Chas. I don't think my grammar is terrible, however I don't care if anyone else's is, as long as I can understand them!

Its good to be picked up on our English by our continental cousins though!

if the norwegies had stayed here after the long boat trip over and learned us up the Norsk lingo we would understand them.

maybe we should have norwegian lessons , first lesson could be swear words

Always wise to learn them first. You can tell when people are upset with you then!

That was just a slip I know the difference.

I agree that the content is most important BUT if we try our best to write correctly it will be easier to read for everyone

I think you'll find that would just about cover the freight costs at present! (If that was quoted to you sole use)......... You'd then be billed for clearance's etc

                          I'd budget alittle more!

Lesson #3: Learning the difference between these three words: They're There Their.

                            They're = They are
There = somewhere specific. Example: Over THERE on the sofa.
Their = Someone owns somethig: It was THEIR car.

                            Please people...
