  • any ideas on this fuel pipe situation

    On my escos, the original plastic fuel pipe that goes from the metal fuel feed pipe to the fuel rail was removed at some point and its been replaced with some rubber fuel hose and some jubilee clips which is now weaping, whats the best way round it,

    Compression fitting to jic 6 on the end of metal pipes, billet fuel rail and some aeroquip hoses will sort it

      Yeah lol, cossie ownerships ay! to be fair its only a few bits that need doing properly, at the minute

      I can get the little stump taken off on the rail and tig weld a threaded aeroquip union in its place, its the metal pipe im not sure about you say compression fittings ?

        You can getting fittings like that from your local hydraulics place, it is a compression fitting on one side and -6on the other.

          Thanks I've been looking for those. Wish I'd found them a month ago Is the original metal lines 1/2"? I guess they're a bit smaller..

              You can get o rings that you squeeze either side to compress the o ring,that would sort it.
