Pulling the muscles in my chest earlier this year was pretty rough, it only hurt every time you breath

Although it doesn't sound quite as bad you guys, it went on... and on... and on...

My Dad slipped a disc in his back and he said that was pretty bad but then a few years later he had a condition in his gut called diverticulosis and he said the compared to that the back pain was a walk in the park!

Agree about back pain, that can make you really miserable though when I have it I can usually find comfortable position and then not move

Unfortunately with the stones there is nothing you can do been clear of them now for a few years touch wood

My worst pain, 4 years ago I prolapsed a lower disc in my back (L5), it would appear that with poor physio help and doctor support that the disc had slowly (for the choice of better words) crumbled away.
At the time the pain was horrendous, possibly the worst I'd every experienced, until the tail end of last year.
This time I prolapsed the disc above it (L4) in a pretty bad way compared to L5.

I could hardly stand or walk for many months, on a really strong combo of pain killers and anti inflamatories, to the point that the side effect started to affect other parts of my body.
8 months later I still struggle with alot of pain, I can't stand for more than a couple of hours at a time, but on the other hand I can't sit for more than a couple of hours at a time either.

I've now been reffered for the possibility of having an epidural to help relieve the pressure on my lower back and the nerves in that area.

I think that is my worst experience of pain......

BUT, crashing my first escort does come close to it.
Rolling it down a motorway embankment and actually having the top half of my body come thru the sunroof as it went, with it coming to rest on its roof, squashing and trapping the back side of my head between the sunroof and top of the windscreen and the back edge of the sunroof imbedded into the left side of my stomach and ribs tearing most stomach muscle fibers!!!

I think I've had more than my share of pain for one lifetime

being electrocuted hurts like fuck. Not during it, but after. It doesnt hurt at all while being zapped as youre kind of numbed, your sense of time slows down and what seems like 10 seconds before youre thrown clear is actually only a fraction of a second in real life

Although by far the worst pain is having toenails smashed by a hammer. every time the broken nails moved was fucking agony until they were removed properly.

                Medically Discharged!! Officially insane!!!

Mark I don't think it should hurt that bad to be honest. I know a few people who have had these procedure's with no pain. I would check it out lad.

I have been through serious pain & hospital in my life , well in 1998 i was 18 too much to list due to being on a motorbike pillion & hitting a car but i can honestly say with all the broken bones & internal injurys i didnt feel pain for months due to being sedated , even at the road side with horrific injurys i didnt feel anything was numb

Got to have it up on tuesday again too and i may lose my bowels in the next year or 2 . Also mentaly my misses has caused me 10 times the amount of paint i've physicaly had.

Got to be the dentist for me, had 3 fillings when I was younger and they never offered an injection.
That feeling of the drill constantly hitting the nerve has scared me for life, not been to the dentist since I was 17 as I just can't face it!

I was the same. Didn't go from age of 17 to 25. I finally did and new dentist is a saint so I ain't fazed by it anymore
