I have fond memories of the Capri. got a good slaggin off the car boffins back in the day, but I had a 2.8 i Special. I loved it. Not fast compared to cars these days but there was something about them.

I've had a couple of Capri's over the years.

Sold my last one three years ago, Paris blue 2.8 special.

Bought it with 22,240 miles on the clock and kept it for 17 years.

fraid to say that d regger is a minger, the wheels don't fit the arches and if you want to fill x pack arches you bosh on 7.5x13 x pack rims or revo 8x16's or a set of 7in or 8in wide compos etc............ not wellers or any motahworld shite

the best capri i ever had was the exact same as what terry mccan drove in minder and i made a nice little earner on it.

You got to have a genuine RS rubber turbo tail too, not some fibreglass job.

I may have to bust out some old pics I think

I've done ok so far for parts, the car was in fairly good shape before I started, parts support is good for these cars, plenty of good clubs.

There are a few things that have been specific to the 280 that took a bit of finding. Do you still have some spares knocking around then?, id like to see some pics if you have some, shame I can't upload some I could bore you for hours..
