The local Ford garage sandicliffe near me is having a grand opening this week end,they have had new showrooms built ,spent alot on it by looks of place,i know the sales chaps
down there because my family have bought cars from there,they know i have escort rs cos , so yesterday sales manager ask me if they can borrow my car for weekend to put in showroom as they want some older fords to celebrate the 60+ years the garage has been going for,so i said yeah no problem,so this morning i took my escort down there and drove car into lovely new showroom next to a mint std series 1 rs turbo. They have a selection of other fords such as Ford GT ,model T,MK1 escort,2 lovely v8 pilots, a fire engine and ambulance,a consul and last but not least a Ferrari F40 which says on write up with car is 1 of only 3 , 750bhp, not a ford i know but wow you dont get to see many of them up close .i am a happy chap to have my car in there with some very nice cars.
